The two perfect gentlemen... Stood up on their big day. Travis & Sean came to us over a year ago. They have been with their foster mom Mona for a very long time now it seems. Today, the saddest thing happened.... Please read their story and share. These two boys are the perfect gentleman, as their foster mom likes to describe them. They are extremely well behaved, fully trained and know all commands. They are bonded brothers who were given up by their owner when he went into treatment. A true pleasure to own and very low maintenance pair. They like to sun bathe, hang out in the yard and hunt anything that squirms, and cuddle up beside you ... (Read More)at night and keep you warm. This past week everyone was preparing for these two to finally go into their forever home. It was the PERFECT family for them and everything was just right. All the steps necessary were taken and approved for the adoption to take place. Today was the day! Today they start their new life with their forever family! They FINALLY had a home of their own.. One they could live out their lives in and love unconditionally in return. We called yesterday to confirm pick up time. No call returned. We emailed inquiring when would be best for them to go home... No email returned. We called again today asking for an explanation or at least a call back to say they changed their minds. . . Nothing. Sean & Travis were stood up. On their big day. They were all packed and ready to go and no one came for them. Now we ask our community to help us help them. Maya is a 70 lbs female catahoula/dane mix. She was left by her previous owners abandoned in their backyard when they moved. She was stuck there without food or water for 3 weeks until the property manager finally noticed her and called us for help. We estimate her to just be 1 year old. She is dog friendly. Very affectionate. She is working with a trainer to perfect her manners and she is fully vetted and ready to go home! She is an active pup and would be great for an active household or with a home that has other dogs to play wtih.
